Pickle Ice Cream

We live in an amazing country, it may be a little messed up, or maybe a lot messed up, but it is incredible.

We have freedoms that some countries only dare to dream about, the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to travel wherever we want and the freedom to make some of the most disgusting flavor combos known to mankind!!

Some of these flavors might appeal to you, but hey! I have freedom of speech and my speech is this:
Who gets paid to make up such unappetizing flavor food items!?

There is no way the inventor of the Wonka Bar would dare to invent such flavors… The most common flavor in foods I’ve seen lately is pickles…Recently we went shopping and we saw this…

Who in the name of Willy Wonka would drink that!? But it does not stop there for the pickle world. There is also pickle-flavored Ice Cream with dried pickles on the side…In New York City you can get Pickle Ice Cream with pickles in and outside the ice cream.

Pickle-flavored candy canes, and a fried pickle with ranch flavor chips. Pickles are good for one thing only, to eat. Not to be put in something as sacred as a candy cane!

Don’t get me started on bacon…nope! First off, I am not a huge fan of it anyway. I know! How dare I say that…I dared.

Why is it every time you turn around bacon has been added to something, including candy canes (again!?) And Maple Bacon flavored coffee and even soda.

Jones Soda is famous for its extremely weird and unusual flavors, some of their limited-edition soda’s included: Peanut Butter and Jelly, Thanksgiving dinner themed flavors such as turkey, potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, brussels sprouts and pumpkin pie, and you may have guessed…bacon flavored soda.

These foods should be eaten! Not put into a bottle to drink like a Coke or a Pepsi…expect brussels sprouts, they don’t belong anywhere…them veggies are just wrong…anyway! My mother would disagree. But, me Mum is not the one writing this!

Other flavors of foods I find questionable are Candy Corn and Jelly Donut Oreos, biscuit and gravy potato chips, wasabi candy canes (Really? candy canes again?!) and last but not least, Mayochup.

Mayo and Ketchup put together in one bottle. Again, some flavors just don’t belong together!

I am a bit of an old-fashioned person, not a fan of change. I like the classics of many things, but I do try to like new things to a point. But I will be loyal to my peppermint candy canes, eating my pickles and my bacon, if I have to, and as far as chips, I love chips, just not pickled!

What’s the next biggest food combo? Bacon flavored pickles!?
